General Information

Stop induced AC and nearby lightning from affecting the fire alarm panel with the ACT 1414. Fitted as standard, this 24V spike suppressor will prevent false alarms and system malfunctions by decoupling AC from cables and clamp the supply against spikes.

  • Protects fire alarm system from induced AC and nearby lightning
  • Decouples induced AC from every alarm cable connected to the control panel
  • Clamps the 24VDC supply against spikes
  • Connect RED+ and BLACK- wires across any 24V fire alarm zone, connect GREEN to mains Earth
  • NOTE: Only one 24V spike suppressor is required for the control panel
