General Information
The 0688 Vandal resistant exit button is suitable for harsh environments - IK07 shock resistance (DIN EN 50102) and panel sealed to IP67.
Switch body and actuator both manufactured from high quality stainless steel. Ultra low profile of just 1.7mm (switch protrusion) increases resistance to attack. Actuator travel of 0.8mm provides excellent, reliable and pleasant tactile feedback on input.
0688 provides a momentary contact and incorporates the highly reliable FK4 ultra-miniature micro-switch, both UL & CSA approved. The microswitch has a long life both mechanically and electrically. The switch has 1 x normally open and 1 x normally closed circuit. Double break switching with snap action ensures switching reliability.
